LOLOL!  This gets an A+ for effort:

Proof positive that somebody with a bunch of Matchbox toys and way too much time on their hands....can actually turn out some LOL funny good stuff!   Cheesy

This one's even a little better, more "refined":

Simple give the car a rev & have a listen a Windsor makes a sort of wheezy drone similar to an angry Hugh Grant when a Clevo will sound like Satan has woke up with a hangover & realized he is out of coffee & cigarettes --Originally Posted by MRJUCY at fordforums.com.au

Definitely liked 'em, myself too.

"The Fastest Yellow..." definitely gets an A for the sound dubbing and "special fx" work; the gun flashes, explosions, and sound fx for the vehicles were all very well done and timed.  Was LOL funny the first time I watched.  The "shaky cam" even helped lend a sense of motion to the army men.

"Road Race" was the clear winner for me too though.  The stop-motion bits were outstanding; very, very smooth.  And of course, the sound fx for the cars are the icing on the cake.  I can just turn the volume way up and listen to it over and over; from one of my fav movies, and one of my fav cars of all time.   good

Of course, the sound fx are NO match for the wail of Mark S.'s REAL blown Clevo in his BoB.  Just search on youtube for "Palenville Drive," you'll see--or hear--what I mean.  That thing ranks right up there with Ferrari V12's, 427 side-oilers and the like for "best sounding motors of all time" for me...
