Definitely liked 'em, myself too.
"
The Fastest Yellow..." definitely gets an A for the sound dubbing and "special fx" work; the gun flashes, explosions, and sound fx for the vehicles were all very well done and timed. Was LOL funny the first time I watched. The "shaky cam" even helped lend a sense of motion to the army men.
"
Road Race" was the clear winner for me too though. The stop-motion bits were outstanding; very, very smooth. And of course, the sound fx for the cars are the icing on the cake. I can just turn the volume way up and listen to it over and over; from one of my fav movies, and one of my fav cars of all time.

Of course, the sound fx are NO match for the wail of Mark S.'s REAL blown Clevo in his BoB. Just search on youtube for "Palenville Drive," you'll see--or hear--what I mean. That thing ranks right up there with Ferrari V12's, 427 side-oilers and the like for "best sounding motors of all time" for me...
